Meet Patience.

Patience is a Vocal Coach and Registered 200-hr Yoga Teacher.

Vocal Coaching

Patience has been singing professionally for 20 years. Having attended theatre school from the age of 6, she has performed in theatre productions, musicals, bands and as a solo artist throughout her life.

Patience believes that singing is a great way to freedom and empowerment - to creating that ‘feel good’ feeling and harnessing confidence and self-esteem. Having studied the voice for many years, and after working alongside artists in London’s music industry, Patience experienced first hand the life of a musician & has learnt the tools to support and get to know your voice over her lifetime.

Patience is also a recording artist and vocalist for Neo-Soul/Jazz band, Kawakawa.

Yoga

Her yoga journey started in 2011, when she was looking for a way to exercise in a non-competitive environment. Having spent her early-mid twenties living in Europe and working in the music industry in London, Patience has continued to practice yoga as a means of self care; for its ability to energise the body, release excess tension and quiet the mind - even when living in a busy city environment.

Her goal is to make yoga accessible to all. It’s not about flexibility, or whether you can touch your toes or make shapes - it’s about exploring your body and bringing a sense of calm to the mind.

Patience completed her YTT at Kawai Purapura in Auckland, New Zealand in November 2020. She teaches Beginner’s Yoga, Broga & Vinyasa-Flow - incorporating elements of Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative yoga.

Her passion and enthusiasm for exploring the body, voice and mind - and her great interest in anatomy, injury rehab and movement - create an uplifting, supportive and mindful environment to explore yoga.
